Do you know one of the BIGGEST mistakes I used to do?

In my early days in network marketing I would make sure I understand everything about the company and make sure I cover a very detailed presentation when I’m with a prospect. In fact I do still think I did a good job in presenting even when I was only getting started. But here was the problem…. I never asked for the sale! At the end of my ‘masterful’ presentation I would not ask the person to sign up! What a BIG MISTAKE! A good number of them who were interested would have signed up if I only told them what to do next…. sigh.
So I did some research and I found out that I’m not the only one! This is an expert from Entrepreneur Magazine:

Recently, a group of consumers were surveyed after they’d been shopping but hadn’t made a purchase. When they were asked why they didn’t buy the product they were considering, most answered, “We were never asked.” They were told, not sold. “

Here are my network marketing training & tips on How to Ask for the Sale & Closing:

 

The #1 way to close a sale is to ask questions. That is one of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt over the past 5 years in business. Way too many people continue rambling along and pitching when they are supposed to shut up and ask the person in front of them some questions and let them share too!

 

Questions are also a great way to take pressure off you as the presenter – it’s way harder to roll off a perfect pitch vs asking the person in front of you some good questions and listening intently.

Here are some questions that will help you Ask for the Sale without Looking Salesy:

  • What did you like best about what you saw/heard?

  • Do you see an opportunity for yourself here?

  • Is there anything else you’d like to know before I help you get started?

Sounds to me like you are ready to join! Awesome!   

(At this point pull out your computer and get the person to fill out the sign up form)

Those three questions are like my secret weapon when it comes to Asking for the Sale and Closing. Memorize them, teach them to your team and see how it ramps up your recruiting efforts!
